Trade-Only Laminating for Printers | We Never Take Your Client
Written here in plain English, not buried in our metadata.
Answer block
Trade-only means we sell to the print trade and not to your customers. We do not run a retail counter, we do not solicit the end client whose job passes through our plant, and everything we ship can go out under your brand with your packing slip. That promise is the reason a printer lets an outside plant touch their work at all, so we put it in the body copy where you can actually read it.
Capability table
| Trade only | We quote printers, brokers and sign shops. Not your accounts. |
| Blind shipping | Your packing slip, your branding, direct to your client |
| Contact policy | We never contact your customer. Ever. |
| Guarantee | 90 days, reprint free, freight both ways |

The promise most “trade-only” laminators only make to robots
Here is something worth knowing about how this category is marketed. We pulled every page of the trade laminating sites ranking for this search in August 2026 and read the source. On the closest direct competitor, the phrase “trade-only” appears twenty-six times — three times in meta description tags and twenty-three times inside JSON-LD structured data. It appears in visible body copy zero times.
In other words the claim was written for search engines and answer engines. A production manager reading the actual page never encounters it. Search that same site for “blind ship”, “white label”, or “we never sell to end users” and you get nothing at all.
We are not going to pretend that makes them a bad laminator. It probably does not. But if the entire reason you outsource is that your client relationship survives the transaction, a promise you can only find by viewing source is not a promise.
What trade-only means here, specifically
- We do not run a retail counter and we do not take walk-in work into your market.
- We never contact your customer, for any reason — including to chase a delivery problem.
We come back to you.
- Nothing that leaves here carries our name unless you ask for it. Blind ship is the
default posture, not an upgrade.
- Your specs, quantities and artwork are not shown to anyone else and are not used as
samples.
- If your client calls us directly having found us somehow, we refer them to you. That is
the whole business model.
None of that is expensive for us to promise, which is exactly why it should worry you that so few competitors write it down.
Trade pricing means the number falls as the run grows
The other half of “trade” is the price behaving like a wholesale price. Retail counters publish one rate and hold it whether you bring one sheet or five hundred — Staples at $1.99 a letter sheet, FedEx Office at $2.75, Office Depot at $1.39 but explicitly capped at fifteen sheets, so the cheapest retail number on the board is not even available on a real run.
Ours moves at every break because our cost does. That is the table above, and it is the entire table.
Retail rates captured 2026-08-27 from the sellers’ own published pages. Re-verify on a
schedule or remove — a trade audience will check them.
FAQs (emit as FAQPage schema)
What does trade-only actually mean? It means our customers are print businesses, not the end users those businesses serve. We quote printers, brokers, sign shops and in-plant departments at wholesale rates, we do not run a retail counter, and we do not sell into the accounts our customers bring us.
Will you contact my customer? No. Not to confirm a delivery, not to resolve a spec question, not ever. Everything comes back through you. If your client somehow reaches us directly we point them at you.
Can you ship under my brand? Yes, that is the default. Your packing slip goes in the carton and there is nothing of ours in the box. Most of our trade customers have their clients receiving work they believe was finished in-house.
