Laminated Placards & Signage, Wholesale

Signage is where lamination stops being cosmetic and starts being structural. A laminated placard survives a warehouse, a kitchen wall, a job site or a shop floor for years. An unlaminated one curls in a fortnight.

What we laminate for signage

  • Wall placards — capacity notices, department signs, wayfinding, price boards.
  • Safety and instruction cards — machine operating procedures, lockout steps, emergency contacts.
  • Table tents and shelf talkers — heavier mil so they stand unsupported.
  • Job-site and equipment tags — punched, slit, weather-resistant.
  • Posters and maps — up to 27″ wide, any length.

Thickness

7 to 10 mil for anything mounted or handled. A 10 mil placard is effectively a rigid panel — it can be drilled, standoff-mounted or hung without a backing board. 7 mil is the sweet spot for wall-mounted signs that get read but not touched.

5 mil is fine for a sign behind glass or in a frame, where the lamination is protecting against humidity rather than handling.

Matte for signage, nearly always

A sign exists to be read, often at an angle and often under overhead light. Gloss puts a mirror between the reader and the message. Unless the placard is carrying photography, specify matte.

Finishing that matters here

Round corners on anything at hand height. Hole punch for hanging tags. Slitting if you are running multiple placards up on one sheet. All standard, all priced in pennies rather than as a surcharge.
